I have to be honest, this travel blog has been the last thing on our minds recently, and in fact I haven’t given it two thoughts since getting back to San Francisco three months ago… that is, until I received this message from a reader last week:
“hi, for the sake of all of us who have read you blog with interest over the past couple of years, would you please update your blog and at least close it out properly? the story is incomplete…”
You know what Jeff from San Francisco, you’re right. Not only because we are leaving readers like you hanging, but because the cathartic act of putting pen to paper – metaphorically of course – and writing about the transition travel life to “real life” will actually help make sense of this period. So I have decided to revive the blog, at least periodically, to document this transition – which as it turns out is BY FAR the strangest and scariest adventure of our whole trip. More to come.
